The De Morgan Centre for the Study of 19th Century Art and Design

The De Morgan Foundation has bought together its extensive collection of the works of William and Evelyn De Morgan and archive material relating to them and their circle. The new centre is a major educational amenity within the community as well as for students of the late 19th Century whether through its art, social or political history. The De Morgans were active participants not only in the arts but in a number of avant garde movements in their day and provide a rich source for today's students of these topics
